Today is Ash Wednesday......#beginning Of Lent

Catholics allover the world celebrate ash wednesday today, the beginning of 40 days of prayers, fasting, abstinence and charity...the ash which is an integral part of the celebration reminds us that dust we come from and to dust we will return... the Church encourages all Catholics to carry out self mortifications during this period of Lent...Catholics are reminded to attend mass, fast and abstain from meat.
Lentern season is a time to remind us that we are sinners & to draw closer to God through Abstainance & Penance & 2 also remind us that we are nothing but just dust & ashes,From The Garden of Eden where man fail and lost the glory of God,Out of the Abundance of his Heart & Mercy, his word became flesh and died on the cross just to redeem & bring us closer to Him To all Catholic all over the World this is a time we abstain from those things that give us pleasure,to suffer the flesh just as christ suffer for us,As we do this may the Graces and Blessing that follow lent be and abide with us(AMEN)
